I’m reading Firstborn as a bedtime story to my two boys. My younger son has declared it to be his favorite book ever.

Just commenting to say that I’ve been a long time fan of your work, and growing up, ‘The Wainscott Weasel’ and ‘The Revenge of Randall Reese-Rat’ were among my favorite books. It’s good to know you’re still going strong, and younger me (older me, too) really appreciates your contributions to the world of animal-centric fiction.
